Draw timeline in excel.

Click process in the smartart ribbon. Click on the insert timeline button in the filter group. Add the new column next to your milestone description column and list out a repetitive sequence of numbers such as 1 2 3 4 or 5 10 15 20 ect. 1 unit of time this column will contain units of time. A time series plot of streamflow will be created as shown below. Depending on your version of excel either click the smartart tab in the ribbon menu or click the insert tab then the smartart button.
